Method

Preparation of Fries

1

Preheat Oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium heat until it reaches 180°C (350°F).

2

Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the frozen French fries to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch.

3

Drain and Season

Remove the fries from the oil using a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

Adding Toppings

4

Prepare Bacon

While fries are frying, chop the cooked bacon into small pieces.

5

Layer Fries

Once all the fries are cooked, layer them on a large serving platter or baking dish.

6

Add Cheese and Bacon

Evenly sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped bacon over the fries.

7

Melt Cheese

Place the platter under a preheated broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on it to avoid burning.

8

Garnish

Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped green onions and a dollop of sour cream on the side.
