Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Soak the Raisins

In a small bowl, combine the raisins and Stroh rum. Let them soak for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Make the Pancake Batter

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth.

  3. 3

    Cook the Pancakes

In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Pour half of the batter into the skillet. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

  4. 4

    Add the Raisins

Sprinkle half of the soaked raisins over the pancake and flip it carefully. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining batter and raisins.

  5. 5

    Tear the Pancakes

Once both pancakes are cooked, tear them into bite-sized pieces using two forks or spatulas.

  6. 6

    Serve

Dust the torn pancakes with powdered sugar and serve with apple sauce, lingonberry, and whipped cream on the side.
