Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Take each chicken breast and place it between two sheets of plastic wrap. Pound it with a meat mallet until it's about 1/2 inch thick.
- 2
Stuff the Chicken
On each chicken breast, place a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese. Roll the chicken tightly, and secure the ends with toothpicks.
- 3
- 4
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken rolls and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 4-5 minutes per side. Transfer to a baking dish.
- 5
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.
- 6
Prepare the Vegetables
While the chicken is baking, steam or sauté the fresh vegetables until tender but still crisp.
- 7
Serve
Remove toothpicks from the chicken rolls, slice them, and serve with the fresh vegetables on the side.
