One grilled German style sausage on Kaiser roll.

Preheat your grill to medium heat. Place the bratwurst sausages on the grill and cook for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally until they are nicely browned and cooked through.

Grill the Bratwurst

In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are soft and caramelized, about 8-10 minutes.

Sauté the Onions

Once the bratwursts are cooked, place each sausage in a Kaiser roll. Top with sautéed onions, a generous serving of sauerkraut, and your choice of mustard.
