1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. Prepare the Crabmeat Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine crabmeat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, green onions, celery, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

3. Assemble the Sandwiches

Spread the softened butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. On the unbuttered side, evenly distribute the crabmeat filling and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

4. Bake the Sandwiches
