Marinara Sauce
Method
Cheesy Bread Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinara Sauce
In a medium saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, then add fresh basil leaves and remove from heat.
- 2
Prepare the Cheesy Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to fit a baking sheet. Transfer the dough to the baking sheet.
- 3
Add Toppings
Drizzle the garlic-infused oil over the dough, spreading it evenly. Sprinkle the mozzarella and provolone cheese on top.
- 4
Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the crust is golden brown.
- 5
Serve
Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then cut into 10 strips. Serve warm with the house-made marinara sauce.
