Hummus Base Preparation

    Prepare Chickpeas

    Drain and rinse the canned chickpeas under cold water. Set aside.

    Blend Ingredients

    In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, garlic cloves, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and cumin powder. Blend until smooth and creamy.

    Adjust Flavor

    Taste the hummus and adjust seasoning with more salt, lemon juice, or garlic as needed.

Toppings Preparation

    Prepare Toppings

    In a small bowl, crumble the feta cheese and chop the walnuts. Set aside for garnish.

Seeded Crackers Preparation

    Preheat Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, ground flaxseed, pumpkin seeds, sesame seeds, and salt.

    Add olive oil and water to the dry mixture and stir until a dough forms.

    Roll and Cut Crackers

    Roll the dough out on a floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into desired shapes and place on a lined baking sheet.

    Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and crisp. Allow to cool.

Serving
