Assembly

Method

Fried Clam Strips

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Coat the Clams

Add the clam strips to the bowl and toss them in the flour mixture until well-coated.

  3. 3

    Make the Batter

Gradually add cold water to the flour mixture, stirring until you have a smooth batter.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a deep pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  5. 5

    Fry the Clam Strips

Dip the coated clam strips into the batter and carefully place them in the hot oil. Fry in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Lobster Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Lobster Salad

In a medium bowl, combine the cooked lobster meat, mayonnaise, finely chopped celery, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Toast the butter buns until golden brown on both sides.

  2. 8

    Assemble the Sliders

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a few gem lettuce leaves, add a generous scoop of lobster salad, and top with a few fried clam strips. Cover with the top half of the bun.
