Prep the Bread
Cut the French baguette in half lengthwise to create a top and bottom for the sandwich.

Slice the Tomato
Wash the tomato and slice it into thin rounds.

Spread the Condiments
Spread Dijon mustard on the inside of both halves of the baguette. Then spread a layer of butter over the mustard for added flavor.

On the bottom half of the baguette, layer the sliced ham evenly. Follow with slices of Gruyere cheese, then add the arugula and tomato slices on top.
