Burger Preparation
- 1
Make the House Sauce
In a medium bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon mustard, sweet pickle relish, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.
- 2
Prepare the Vegetables
Slice the tomato and onion into thin rings. Rinse the lettuce leaves and pat dry.
- 3
Cook the Patties
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the wagyu beef patties with salt and pepper. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them and place a slice of American cheese on top of each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese has melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.
- 4
Fries Preparation
- 5
Cut the Potatoes
Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.
- 6
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
- 7
Fry the Potatoes
Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying them until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes per batch. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 8
Season the Fries
While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
