Knead the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 3
Roll the Dough
After the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut the dough into triangles (about 4-5 inches wide at the base).
- 4
Shape the Croissants
Starting from the base of each triangle, roll the dough up towards the tip to form a croissant shape. Place the croissants on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- 5
Second Rise
Cover the shaped croissants with a kitchen towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- 6
Bake
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the croissants for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
