Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
- 2
Make the Coating
In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
- 3
Coat the Wings
Add the dried wings to the flour mixture and toss until they are well coated.
- 4
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).
- 5
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated wings to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pot. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 6
Drain and Serve
Remove the wings from the oil and place them on a wire rack or paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot.
