Cooking Instructions
Cook the Macaroni
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Season with taco seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Cook until the beef is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
Combine Ingredients
In the same skillet with the cooked beef, add the drained macaroni and pico de gallo. Stir to combine and heat through for about 2-3 minutes.
Add Cheese
Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the macaroni and beef mixture. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is well combined.
Serve
Spoon the Mexi Mac into bowls and top each serving with a dollop of sour cream and a sprinkle of candied jalapenos.
