Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Roast the Turkey

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Season the turkey breast with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Place it in a roasting pan and roast for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest before slicing.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Ham

While the turkey is roasting, slice the ham into thin pieces. Optionally, you can warm it slightly in a skillet over medium heat.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the sub rolls lengthwise. Layer the bottom half with slices of roasted turkey, followed by ham and Swiss cheese. Top with cole slaw and a generous drizzle of Russian dressing.

  4. 4

    Melt the Cheese

Place the assembled sandwiches under a broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven, close the sandwiches, and serve immediately with additional cole slaw on the side, if desired.
