Make the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and egg. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Roll the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through and browned.

Assemble the Flatbread
Spread a layer of red sauce over each piece of flatbread. Place the baked meatballs evenly on top of the sauce.

Add Cheese
Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the meatballs and return the flatbreads to the oven.

Melt the Cheese
Bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, garnish with fresh basil if desired, slice, and serve hot.
