Method
Preparation and Assembly
- 1
Cook the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- 2
Season the Beef
Add taco seasoning to the cooked beef along with 1/4 cup of water. Stir well and simmer for about 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- 3
Warm the Taco Shells
In a separate pan or in the microwave, warm the soft taco shells as per package instructions.
- 4
Assemble the Tacos
Place a portion of the seasoned beef in each taco shell. Top with shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and a dollop of sour cream.
- 5
Serve
Serve with a side of house hot sauce for drizzling.
