    Mix the Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine the cornmeal, flour, baking powder, salt, and pepper. In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg and milk. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Fold in the lobster meat and green onions.

    Fry the Hushpuppies

    Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C). Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil, frying in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Piccalilli Aïoli Preparation

    Prepare the Aïoli

    In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise, piccalilli, minced garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well and set aside.

Sour Cream and Chive Dust Preparation

    In a small bowl, mix together the sour cream, chopped chives, garlic powder, and salt. Stir until well combined.
