Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).

Prepare the Ribs
Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

Apply the Dry Rub
In a small bowl, mix together the dry rub ingredients. Rub the mixture all over the ribs, ensuring they are evenly coated. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes.

Bake the Ribs
Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, meaty side up. Cover with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours.

Prepare the Barbecue Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine all barbecue sauce ingredients. Simmer for about 15 minutes until thickened.

Rest and Serve
Once done, let the ribs rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
