1. Boil water
In a clean pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
2. Bloom the tea and aromatics
Remove from heat and add 4 tsp black tea leaves, 2 tsp dried jasmine flowers, and 1 tsp dried orange peel. Let steep off the heat for 5 minutes to release fragrance.
3. Strain and re-warm
Pour the tea through a fine-mesh strainer into a serving pitcher to remove leaves and citrus. If you prefer stronger flavor, you can briefly re-warm.
4. Sweeten and brighten
Stir in 2 tsp honey and 1 tsp fresh lemon juice. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired.
5. Serve hot or iced
Pour hot tea into cups. If serving iced, fill glasses with ice cubes (about 1 cup per glass) before pouring.
