Prepare the water
Measure 250 ml of water from a clean source and pour into a kettle or small pot.

Heat the water
Place the kettle or pot on a heat source and heat until the water reaches about 90–95°C (just below a rolling boil). If using a kettle with auto-shutoff, switch off once boiling and allow the water to settle to the target temperature.

Pour and serve
Carefully pour the hot water into a heat-resistant mug. Serve immediately while hot. If desired, you can add a flavoring after cooling slightly (e.g., a small squeeze of lemon or a teaspoon of honey) to taste.
