Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguine

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Add the Shrimp

Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

  4. 4

    Incorporate the Tomatoes

Add the halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften.

  5. 5

    Deglaze with Wine

Pour in the white wine and simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the alcohol to cook off and the sauce to reduce slightly.

  6. 6

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked linguine to the skillet, tossing to combine. If the sauce is too thick, add reserved pasta water a little at a time until desired consistency is reached.

  7. 7

    Finish with Parsley

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Adjust seasoning with additional salt and pepper if needed.

  8. 8

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
