Prepare the Base
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, green bell pepper, and celery. Sauté until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Add Garlic and Spices
Stir in the minced garlic, Cajun seasoning, bay leaves, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Incorporate Tomatoes and Broth
Add the canned diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce to the skillet. Stir to combine.

Simmer the Sauce
Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Let it simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 5-7 minutes.

Serve
Remove the bay leaves and serve the shrimp creole over cooked rice. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
