Preparation Steps
- 1
Prepare the Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned, breaking it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a separate pan, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess fat.
- 3
Toast the Buns
Lightly toast the burger buns in the same skillet used for the beef, just until golden brown.
- 4
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer half of the cooked beef, followed by two slices of bacon, a slice of cheddar cheese, lettuce, and tomato slices. Spread mayonnaise on the top half of the bun and place it on top.
- 5
Serve
Serve the assembled burgers with a side of regular fries and a cup of your favorite drink.
