Burger and Toppings

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patties

Divide the ground beef into two equal portions (1/2 lb each) and shape them into burger patties. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the patties with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on one side until browned, then flip them.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese

After flipping, place two slices of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a separate skillet.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a cheesy patty, followed by pickles, sliced onions, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
