Method

For the Chicken Wings

  1. 1

    Prepare the Wings

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Wings

In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with salt, black pepper, paprika, and cayenne pepper until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Wings

Place the seasoned wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

While the wings are baking, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce and garlic powder. Remove from heat and set aside.

  5. 5

    Coat the Wings

Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the hot sauce mixture over the wings and toss until they are well coated.

For the Blue Cheese Dressing

  1. 6

    Mix the Dressing

In a medium bowl, combine blue cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined and creamy.

  2. 7

    Chill the Dressing

Cover the blue cheese dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
