Chipotle Sauce

Method

Prepare the Fish

  1. 1

    Marinate the Fish

In a bowl, mix olive oil, lime juice, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the white fish fillets and coat them evenly in the marinade. Let it sit for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Fish

Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. Place the marinated fish on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and flakes easily with a fork. Remove from heat and let rest for a couple of minutes before flaking into bite-sized pieces.

Make the Cabbage Slaw

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, shredded carrots, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and salt. Toss until everything is well mixed. Adjust salt to taste.

Prepare the Chipotle Sauce

  1. 4

    Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, minced chipotle peppers, lime juice, and garlic powder. Mix well until smooth. Set aside.

Assemble the Tacos

  1. 5

    Warm the Tortillas

Lightly warm the corn tortillas in a skillet or microwave for a few seconds until pliable.

  2. 6

    Fill the Tacos

On each tortilla, place a portion of the grilled fish, followed by the cabbage slaw, and drizzle with chipotle sauce. Add more sauce if desired.

  3. 7

    Serve

Serve the tacos with lime wedges on the side for extra zest. Enjoy!
