Spice Blend Ingredients

Method

Preparation Directions

1

Roasting the Spices

In a dry skillet over medium heat, add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, black peppercorns, and cloves. Roast the spices for about 3-4 minutes until they are fragrant, stirring frequently to prevent burning.

2

Grinding the Spices

Once roasted, let the spices cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a spice grinder or mortar and pestle. Grind the roasted spices into a fine powder.

3

Mixing the Blend

In a bowl, combine the ground spice mix with turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, salt, dried mint leaves, and cinnamon powder. Mix well until all spices are evenly distributed.

4

Storing the Spice Blend

Transfer the Kabab Malabar Powder to an airtight container. It can be stored in a cool, dry place for up to 3 months.
