Preparation Instructions
- 1
Melt the Chocolate
In a double boiler, melt the dark chocolate and milk chocolate together with coconut oil until smooth. Stir frequently to prevent burning.
- 2
Prepare the Molds
While the chocolate is melting, prepare silicone molds in the shape of coins. Ensure they are clean and dry.
- 3
Pour the Chocolate
Once the chocolate mixture is melted, carefully pour it into the molds, filling each mold to the top.
- 4
Add Mint and Salt
Place a mint leaf on top of each chocolate coin and sprinkle with a small pinch of sea salt for added flavor.
- 5
Dust with Gold
Using a small brush, lightly dust the surface of each chocolate coin with edible gold dust for a beautiful finish.
- 6
Chill and Set
Place the filled molds in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour or until the chocolate is fully set.
- 7
Unmold and Serve
Once set, carefully remove the chocolate coins from the molds. Serve as a gift or treat.
