Preparation of Puri

Step 1: Make the Dough
In a bowl, mix all-purpose flour, semolina, and salt. Gradually add water and knead to form a soft dough. Cover and let it rest for 30 minutes.

Step 2: Roll and Fry
Divide the dough into small balls. Roll each ball into a circle about 4 inches in diameter. Heat oil in a deep pan and fry each puri until puffed and golden brown.

Step 3: Drain Excess Oil
Remove puris from the oil and drain on paper towels.
