Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cumin seeds, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.

Add Butter
Add 1/2 cup of softened butter to the dry ingredients and mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Form the Dough
Add water, a tablespoon at a time, until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.

Shape the Biscuits
On a floured surface, roll out the dough to about 1/4 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes using cookie cutters.

Bake the Biscuits
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.

Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool on a wire rack. Enjoy your crispy jeera biscuits!
