Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by slicing the chicken breast and beef sirloin into thin strips, approximately 1-inch wide. Chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets, mince the garlic, and grate the ginger.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Meats

In a mixing bowl, combine the sliced chicken and beef with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, salt, and black pepper. Allow the meats to marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the rest of the ingredients.

  3. 3

    Create the Sauce

In a small bowl, whisk together the remaining soy sauce, cornstarch, and ginger. This will be used as the sauce for the stir-fry.

  4. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers. This should take about 2 minutes.

  5. 5

    Cook the Chicken and Beef

Add the marinated chicken and beef to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the meats are browned and cooked through.

  6. 6

    Add the Broccoli

Once the meats are cooked, add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-5 minutes until the broccoli is bright green and slightly tender.

  7. 7

    Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken, beef, and broccoli. Stir well to coat all the ingredients and allow it to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  8. 8

    Serve

Remove the skillet from heat and serve the Chicken Beef with Broccoli immediately over cooked rice or noodles, if desired.
