Marinade

Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a large mixing bowl, combine the plain yogurt, garam masala, ground cumin, ground coriander, turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, lemon juice, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Whisk together until smooth.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Paneer

Add the cubed paneer, onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks to the marinade. Ensure that all pieces are well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for best results.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, lightly brush it with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  2. 4

    Skewer the Ingredients

Once marinated, thread the paneer, onion, and bell pepper onto skewers. You can alternate between the ingredients for a colorful presentation.

  3. 5

    Grill the Skewers

Place the skewers on the preheated grill. Cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until the paneer is charred and heated through, and the vegetables are tender.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove the skewers from the grill and let them cool for a minute. Serve hot with mint chutney or yogurt on the side.
