Marinating the Chicken

Prepare the Marinade
In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper.

Marinate the Chicken
Add the chicken breasts to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.

Prepare the Vegetables
While the chicken is marinating, wash and slice the bell peppers and onion into thin strips.

Cook the Chicken
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Remove the chicken from the marinade and add it to the hot skillet. Cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the chicken is fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 75°C/165°F).

Serve
Remove the skillet from heat and let it rest for a couple of minutes before slicing the chicken. Serve the chili chicken warm with the sautéed vegetables.
