Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Minced Chicken Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the minced chicken, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, minced ginger, green chilies, chopped coriander leaves, and chopped mint leaves. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Add Seasonings

To the chicken mixture, add lemon juice, salt, black pepper powder, garam masala, and cumin powder. Mix everything thoroughly until the spices are well incorporated.

  3. 3

    Chill the Mixture

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Prepare the Skewers

If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning during grilling. If using metal skewers, simply ensure they are clean.

  2. 5

    Shape the Kebabs

Take a portion of the marinated chicken mixture and mold it around each skewer, pressing firmly to ensure it holds its shape. Repeat for all skewers.

  3. 6

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill or oven to medium-high heat (about 180-200°C or 350-400°F).

  4. 7

    Grill the Kebabs

Brush the kebabs lightly with oil and place them on the grill. Cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until they are cooked through and have a nice char.

  5. 8

    Serve

Once cooked, remove the kebabs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with mint chutney and lemon wedges.
