Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Peppers

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the tops off the Italian long hot peppers and carefully remove the seeds, making sure not to tear the peppers.

  2. 2

    Make the Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, Italian sausage, chopped red bell pepper, grated Romano cheese, crumbled Gorgonzola cheese, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

  3. 3

    Stuff the Peppers

Using a spoon, carefully stuff each pepper with the prepared filling. Make sure they are well packed.

  4. 4

    Prepare for Baking

Place the stuffed peppers in a baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle Italian breadcrumbs on top.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes until the peppers are tender and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

  6. 6

    Finish and Serve

Remove from the oven and drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving. Enjoy your delicious stuffed Italian long hot peppers!
