Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the angel hair pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Filet

Season the filet tournedos with salt and black pepper. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the filet for about 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove the filet from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Marsala Sauce

In the same skillet, add butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the sliced mushrooms and cook until they are tender. Pour in the Marsala wine, scraping the bottom of the pan to deglaze. Allow the sauce to simmer for about 5 minutes, or until it is slightly reduced.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Return the filet to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top. Let it cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to heat through. Serve the filet over a bed of angel hair pasta and garnish with chopped parsley.
