Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Oreo Crust

Crush the Oreo cookies in a food processor until fine crumbs form. Melt the unsalted butter and mix it with the cookie crumbs until well combined. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch pie pan to form the crust.

  2. 2

    Assemble the Pie

Scoop the coffee ice cream into the prepared Oreo crust, smoothing it out evenly. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top of the ice cream layer, gently pressing them in.

  3. 3

    Make the Chocolate Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk. Stir continuously until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.

  4. 4

    Make the Whipped Cream

In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until soft peaks form. Be careful not to overwhip.

  5. 5

    Finish the Pie

Drizzle the chocolate sauce over the ice cream layer. Top with the homemade whipped cream. You can garnish with additional chopped walnuts if desired.

  6. 6

    Freeze and Serve

Cover the pie with plastic wrap and freeze for at least 4 hours or until firm. To serve, slice and enjoy your Cappuccino Pie!
