Method
Preparing the Chicken Wings
- 1
Clean and Dry the Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2
Season the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the chicken wings, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss until the wings are evenly coated.
- 3
Heat the Oil
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 4
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the seasoned chicken wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove them with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- 5
Coat with Buffalo Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with buffalo sauce until well coated.
Preparing the Celery Sticks
- 6
Wash and Cut the Celery
Wash the celery stalks under cold water. Cut each stalk into 3-inch pieces.
Making Blue Cheese Dressing
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together blue cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth and creamy.
- 8
Chill the Dressing
Cover the dressing and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
