Method

Burger Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess fat.

  2. 2

    Form the Patties

In a mixing bowl, shape the ground beef into two equal patties. Season both sides with salt and pepper to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Patties

In the same skillet used for the bacon, increase the heat to medium-high. Add the beef patties and cook for about 4 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes for medium doneness.

  4. 4

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns in a toaster or on a griddle until golden brown.

  5. 5

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked beef patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, bacon, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Fries Directions

  1. 6

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to create fries.

  2. 7

    Heat the Oil

In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 8

    Fry the Potatoes

Carefully add the potato strips to the hot oil in batches, frying them for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and let drain on paper towels.

  4. 9

    Season the Fries

While the fries are still hot, sprinkle with salt to taste.
