Method

Preparation of Topping

  1. 1

    Chop Tomatoes

Dice the fresh tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 2

    Add Basil and Garlic

Chop the fresh basil leaves and mince the garlic cloves. Add both to the bowl with the tomatoes.

  3. 3

    Season the Mixture

Add the balsamic glaze, salt, and black pepper to the tomato mixture. Stir gently to combine all ingredients. Set aside to let the flavors meld.

Grilling the Bread

  1. 4

    Preheat Grill

Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Slice the Baguette

Cut the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices on a diagonal.

  3. 6

    Brush with Olive Oil

Brush both sides of each slice with olive oil to ensure they grill nicely.

  4. 7

    Grill the Bread

Place the oiled bread slices on the grill. Grill for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and have grill marks.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Top the Bread

Remove the grilled bread from the grill and place it on a serving platter. Spoon the tomato mixture generously on top of each slice.

  2. 9

    Finish with Extra Glaze

Drizzle additional balsamic glaze over the topped bruschetta for extra flavor.

  3. 10

    Serve

Serve immediately while the bread is warm and enjoy your delicious bruschetta!
