Method
Cooking Pasta
Boil Water
Fill a large pot with water and bring it to a boil over high heat. Add a generous pinch of salt.
Cook Fettuccine
Once the water is boiling, add the fettuccine pasta. Cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside, reserving a little pasta water.
Cooking Seafood
Prepare Lobster Tail
Using kitchen shears, cut the top shell of the lobster tail lengthwise to expose the meat. Remove the meat and cut it into bite-sized pieces.
Making the Sauce
Prepare Alfredo Sauce
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
Add Cheese
Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. If the sauce is too thick, add a little reserved pasta water to reach your desired consistency. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combining Ingredients
Combine Everything
Add the cooked fettuccine, lobster, and shrimp to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to combine, ensuring the pasta is well coated with the sauce.
Serve
Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy your Seafood Fettuccine Pasta!
