Method

Preparation of Chicken

1

Prepare the Chicken

Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces (breast, leg, thigh, and wing).

2

Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine the chicken with some salt and pepper. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Breading

3

Prepare Breading Mixture

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder.

4

Prepare Egg Mixture

In another bowl, beat the eggs and mix in the milk.

Breading the Chicken

5

Coat the Chicken

Dip each piece of chicken first in the egg mixture, then coat it thoroughly in the breading mixture. Set aside on a plate.

Frying

6

Heat Oil

In a large deep skillet or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

7

Fry the Chicken

Carefully add the breaded chicken pieces to the hot oil, frying them in batches if necessary. Fry for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through, ensuring the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

8

Drain the Chicken

Use a slotted spoon to remove the chicken from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Sweet & Spicy Sauce

9

Combine Sauce Ingredients

In a small saucepan, combine the honey, hot sauce, soy sauce, and rice vinegar. Heat over low heat until warm, stirring occasionally.

Serving

10

Serve the Dish

Serve the fried chicken pieces hot with a cup of sweet & spicy sauce on the side for dipping.
