Method
Preparing the Burger Patties
Mix the Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until just combined.
Form the Patties
Divide the meat mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent them from puffing up while cooking.
Cooking the Patties
Add Cheese
After flipping, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patties are cooked to your desired doneness.
Assembling the Burger
Prepare the Buns and Toppings
While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato and wash the lettuce leaves. Toast the brioche buns lightly if desired.
Build the Burger
On the bottom half of each brioche bun, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Add a lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato, and 2 slices of pickles. Place the cooked patty with melted cheese on top, then cover with the top half of the bun.
