Method

Waffle Fries Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) according to the package instructions for the waffle fries.

  2. 2

    Prepare Fries

Spread the frozen waffle fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt. Toss to coat the fries evenly.

  3. 3

    Bake Fries

Bake the fries in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through the baking time.

Assembling Irish Nachos

  1. 4

    Place Fries

Once the fries are baked, remove them from the oven and place them on a large serving platter.

  2. 5

    Add Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot waffle fries, allowing it to melt slightly.

  3. 6

    Add Toppings

Top the cheese with crumbled bacon, diced jalapeños, chopped green onions, and pico de gallo.

  4. 7

    Add Sour Cream

Drizzle sour cream over the top or serve it on the side for dipping.

Serving

  1. 8

    Prepare Wing Sauce

In a small bowl, pour the buffalo wing sauce for dipping alongside the nachos.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
