Preparation Steps
- 1
Brew the Coffee
Brew 240 ml of strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature.
- 2
Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 4 egg yolks and 100 g of sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy.
- 3
- 4
Whip the Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 240 ml of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Then gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture, being careful not to deflate it.
- 5
Soak the Ladyfingers
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee, making sure not to soak them for too long. They should be moist but not soggy.
- 6
Layer the Ingredients
In a rectangular dish, arrange half of the soaked ladyfingers in a single layer. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- 7
Chill the Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for best results.
- 8
Serve
Before serving, dust the top with 30 g of cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
