Cauliflower Bites

Method

Preparation of Cauliflower Bites

  1. 1

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) to ensure the cauliflower bites become crispy.

  2. 2

    Prepare Cauliflower

Remove the leaves from the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets.

  3. 3

    Make Batter

In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and water. Whisk until smooth.

  4. 4

    Coat Cauliflower

Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring each piece is fully coated, then place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  5. 5

    Add Olive Oil

Drizzle the olive oil over the coated cauliflower bites.

  6. 6

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.

Buffalo Sauce Preparation

  1. 7

    Melt Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 8

    Combine Sauce Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, remove from heat and add the hot sauce and garlic powder. Stir until well combined.

Final Tossing and Serving

  1. 9

    Toss Cauliflower in Sauce

Once the cauliflower bites are done baking, remove from the oven and transfer to a large bowl. Pour the buffalo sauce over the hot cauliflower and toss until evenly coated.

  2. 10

    Serve

Serve immediately with celery sticks and your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese.
