Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the tomatoes into small pieces and place them into a mixing bowl.

Add Garlic and Basil
Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves. Add the chopped garlic and torn fresh basil leaves to the bowl with the diced tomatoes.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the olive oil over the tomato mixture. Add salt and black pepper to taste. Gently mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

Slice the Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Top the Toast
Once the bread is toasted, remove it from the oven and let it cool slightly. Spoon the tomato mixture generously onto each slice of toasted bread.

Arrange the bruschetta on a serving platter and serve immediately while the bread is still warm.
