Method
Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Beef Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, slightly larger than the burger buns to allow for shrinkage during cooking.
- 3
House Sauce Preparation
- 4
Make the House Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle relish until well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Fries Preparation
- 5
Prepare the Potatoes
Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even-sized sticks (about 1 cm thick) for even cooking.
- 6
Bake the Fries
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Toss the potato sticks with olive oil and salt, then spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
Assemble the Burger
- 7
Build the Burger
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster. Spread a generous amount of house sauce on the bottom bun, add a lettuce leaf, place the cooked beef patty on top, add slices of tomato, and finally, cover with the top bun.
