Prepare the Protein
If using chicken breast, cut it into bite-sized pieces. If using shrimp, ensure they are peeled and deveined.

Gather Ingredients
Measure out all spices and prepare the mango pulp.
Cooking

Heat Oil
In a large skillet or pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat.

Sauté Aromatics
Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Cook Protein
Add the chicken or shrimp to the pan. Season with salt, black pepper, cumin, turmeric, and coriander powder. Cook until the protein is browned and cooked through (about 5-7 minutes for chicken, 3-5 minutes for shrimp).

Add Mango Pulp
Stir in the mango pulp and water. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for an additional 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Adjust Seasoning
Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt, black pepper, or chili powder as desired.

Remove from heat, garnish with fresh cilantro, and serve hot with rice or naan.
