Prepare the Ingredients
Dice the lamb into 1-inch pieces and set aside. Slice the onions and green bell pepper, and chop the tomatoes. If using frozen peas, ensure they are thawed.

Add Lamb and Spices
Add the diced lamb to the pot. Cook until browned on all sides, about 5-10 minutes. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the lamb.

Incorporate Tomatoes
Add the chopped tomatoes to the mixture and cook until they soften and release their juices, about 5 minutes.

Add Water and Simmer
Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low and cover the pot. Let it simmer for about 30 minutes or until the lamb is tender.

Finish with Peppers and Peas
After 30 minutes, add the sliced green bell pepper and green peas to the pot. Stir to combine and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Finally, sprinkle the garam masala and mix well.
